“I be Choy, these be my Designs.”

UK Based Graphic Designer.

Born in the South, raised in the North, and navigating through this wild world.

I’ve been passionate about the arts for as long as I can remember, whether doodling, crafting, or designing with whatever supplies were around. At school, I pursued art at GCSE and later took Graphic Design and Photography at A-Level. After leaving school, I worked as a Cyber Security Apprentice for nationwide organisations, managing mailboxes, organising meetings, and developing strong professional communication skills. Even while studying something completely different, I was always creating, drawing, designing, and landing my first commission to create an album cover for a band. That experience sparked my decision to pursue a career in graphic design, leading me to a Foundation Degree in Graphic Communication at Cardiff Metropolitan University via Cardiff and Vale College.

During my degree, I gained hands-on experience in typography, composition, editorial and publicity design, illustration, and interactive web design. My internship at the Wales Millennium Centre, working under the director of RawFfest, an annual youth arts festival, gave me practical experience in live events design.

After moving back to the Northeast, I joined DRUMSHOP UK as Website Administrator, combining technical skills with creativity. In my spare time, I was supporting up-and-coming bands by assisting with music videos, coordinating gear rentals, finding merch suppliers, and reviewing new albums. These experiences naturally led me into live event promotion and marketing.

Today, as Marketing Assistant and Artworker at Ghostwriter Consultancy and Events, I create visual assets and marketing campaigns for live music events, including posters, flyers, stage visuals, social media campaigns, pitch decks, sponsorship materials, and venue packs. I collaborate with artists, management, promoters, and venues to ensure brand consistency, high-quality output, and timely delivery. From assisting with photoshoots to adapting label materials, I combine creativity, organisation, and a love of music to bring campaigns to life.

An avid gig-goer, I am thrilled to combine my two passions, design and live events, into a career that keeps me at the heart of the music industry, constantly learning, creating, and celebrating music in all its forms.
